Partner Programs

Our mission is to expand the reach of hockey in the Detroit areas surrounding ESH Ice Arena. Partnering with USA Hockey, the NHL, Detroit PAL and Eagle Sports, we’ve launched a dedicated initiative to make youth hockey accessible to underprivileged and low-income children. Since our inception, we’ve built strong relationships with numerous neighborhood organizations and churches across Detroit.

Thanks to these collaborative efforts, we have successfully introduced over 300+ children to the exciting world of hockey, providing them with opportunities they otherwise wouldn’t have had.

Detroit PAL operates in partnership with the Detroit Police Department and community volunteers, Detroit PAL is helping youth find their greatness through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs.

The East Side Youth Sports Foundation and the Bulldogs Hockey Club are excited to partner with Detroit PAL and the NHLPA to host the G.R.E.A.T. Youth Hockey Program. Equipment for the program has been generously provided by the National Hockey League Players Association.
