5U (2020 & Younger)

Skill development station-based practices on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Practices always include a “game” based station. Cross Ice games, both inhouse and against other Metro Detroit associations will be arranged in the second half of the season. Teams will be divided evenly based on attendance and/or limit for each event. There may be a nominal fee for Away events.

General Bulldogs 8U Hockey communication will come through Bulldogs Hockey weekly Constant Contact email.

6U (2019)

Skill development station based practices Wednesdays and most Saturdays. Players will have the opportunity to participate in several Cross Ice jamborees and Half Ice scrimmage games, both inhouse and against other Metro Detroit associations. Teams will be evenly divided based on attendance and/or limit for each event. There may be a nominal fee for Away events.

• General Bulldogs 6U Hockey communication will come through Bulldogs Hockey weekly Constant Contact email.
• Communication specific to the 2019 group will come through 6U Manager. This will likely be email and would be for event sign up, getting attendance in advance of an event, etc.

7U (2018) & 8U (2017)

Separate birth year skill development station based practices on Wednesdays. All ‘18 and ‘17 players will be placed on evenly divided or drafted Mite teams of evenly mixed ages. Teams play in an inhouse Half Ice league. Games are on most Saturdays through the season with playoffs at the end. Teams will also compete in annual Christmas Pond Hockey tournament.

Players must be registered for Full Season to be put on a Mite team.

General Bulldogs 8U Hockey communication will come through Bulldogs Hockey weekly email.

Communication specific to individual Half Ice Mite teams will come through individual teams. This is primarily for reminders of Saturday time, who’s playing goalie, etc.

BULLDOGS 8U GIRLS (2017-2018)

Bulldogs 8U Hockey Full Season registration is required to participate in the Bulldogs 8U Girls Program.

Players will participate in girls only 8U events, both inhouse and against other Metro Detroit associations. Bulldogs 8U Girls operate in conjunction with Bulldogs 8U Hockey, and participate with boys on regularly scheduled 8U days. A 2017/2018 team will hold practices and games and will be scheduled and incur fees specific to Bulldogs 8U Girls (ice, jerseys, tournaments, etc) will be billed and collected by Bulldogs 8U Girls Manager.

Communication specific to Bulldogs 8U Girls will come through Bulldogs 8U Girls TeamSnap.

‘17 Muskies – ‘18 Muskies

Bulldogs 8U Hockey Full Season registration is required to participate with the ’17 Muskies, and ’18 Muskies

Muskies are 7U (2018) and 8U (2017) travel teams that will age up to Bulldogs Gold at 10U.

These franchises (Muskies) will hold tryouts in the last two weeks of March for Spring teams. Spring program is determined by individual teams, typically April 1 to the week before Memorial Day, 1-2 days per week, 4-10 scrimmages Home or Away, 1-2 local tournaments.

Fall ‘25/’26 rosters will be decided and communicated by individual teams’ Head Coach and/or Franchise Holder after Spring.

Muskies teams will have 1-2 days per week for practices and Home games. Muskies play in the AAU league. League is separated by birth year, divisions are based on caliber, divisions include teams from Metro Detroit. Muskies will play 20-30 games, 1-2 Full Ice tournaments, 1-2 Half Ice tournaments.

Muskies teams operate in conjunction with but financially separate than Bulldogs 8U Hockey, fees (ice, jerseys, tournaments, refs, etc) specific to individual Muskies teams will be billed and collected by individual teams’ managers.

Communication specific to individual Muskies teams will come through individual teams’ TeamSnap.
